ARCHITECTURAL FOUNDATION & ROLE

As the Lead Backend Developer at Avisa Technologies, I designed and built the complete backend architecture using Node.js, Express, Redis, and MongoDB. The core is an event-driven heartbeat engine that calculates user activity cycles and schedules sliding expiration timers using Redis keyspace notifications and TTL triggers.

When an inactivity threshold is reached, our notification pipeline fires multi-tier alerts through Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) and Apple APNs. I implemented escalation workflows that progress from subtle reminder pings to SMS, automated calls, and emergency notifications to trusted circle members.

To manage platform operations, I built the dedicated Web Admin Dashboard. The dashboard empowers operators to monitor active user heartbeats, visualize family Care Circle connection graphs, inspect background sync telemetry, and manage automated alert rules.

The backend was engineered for continuous 24/7 reliability, handling high-volume background pings with minimal server overhead. Every endpoint utilizes index-optimized MongoDB schemas, tokenized authentication, and automated rate-limiting to protect sensitive wellness data.
